I installed Catalina using DosDude1's hack. Everything works great but I just can't get video to output from my Mac Edition GTX 680 over DisplayPort. Only HDMI works but I need DisplayPort for 60hz with my 4K monitor. I used the default DosDude1 settings. I guess I could roll back to Mojave, but man what a drag. Did I do something wrong? Planetbase crack.

- Added on 08/04/13: Dr. Stealth has an excellent thread on how to flash the GTX 680 4GB models at this link, and what 4GB models were successfully flashed. Currently both Newegg and Amazon are out of stock for the EVGA Mac Edition GTX 680.
- The GTX 680 for Mac looks like the best choice for me (being officially approved by Adobe and getting generally great reviews). Unfortunately, Apple seems to be going in a different direction with the 'Pro' line of computers and there's a good chance I won't be getting their 2013 model (it's small and offers no expandability).
The EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Mac Edition is based on the same GK104 core found in other GTX 680 cards and therefore the new EVGA product offers 1536 stream processors, 128 texture units, 32 raster operating units and a 256-bit memory bus. The GK104 processor runs at 1006 MHz (1058 MHz in Turbo Mode) whereas the on-board 2 GB of GDDR5 memory runs at full 6008 MHz. As expected from such a card the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Mac Edition fully supports DirectX 11.1, OpenGL 4.2, OpenCL 1.2, PhysX, PCI-Express 3.0, 4-way multi-GPU and other NVIDIA technologies.
Due to the specific hardware and software used in Mac Pro computers the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Mac Edition will come with a modified BIOS that allows the card to run on such machines. Unfortunately for Mac Pro owners the video card will be more expensive compared to regular GTX 680 cards – it sells for USD 599.

Unflashed grafic cards for windows systems should work, but they dont show the booting screens, until osx has fully loaded. So in case of booting problems you will not see any error screens, and the osx boot volume selection screen (where you choose between osx and boot camp) cannot be displayed.
Flashed grafic cards will show you the boot screens too.
Have a look at http://www.macvidcards.com/, they have a wide variety of grafic cards, from low cost up to high end. And they have a flashing service for many pc cards.
